Nestled in the heart of East Sussex is where can find our workshop, Every day must begin with a schedule review and a hand-crafted coffee. Active designs are turned from sketches to 3D models. The design process takes into consideration the size, image and functionality of the project. A detailed cutting list is produced to ensure the raw materials are to be cut in the most efficient manner, minimising waste and limiting environmental impact.

Specialist materials are sourced through a network of local timber yards and suppliers. The raw materials are brought back to the workshop where they are stored in a stable environment ready for the first stage of crafting.

On crafting the design we utilise a variety of tools the above universal cutting machine enables us to cut large sheets to size mill rough timber into smooth square planks and set grooves and profiles, we also use a variety of traditional hand tools. The components are careful assembled using specialist techniques such as; timber lamination, domino joints, and traditional mortise & tenon joinery.

All furniture is finished to an exceptionally high standard with a variety of sanding and smoothing techniques. Your choice of finish is applied to protect and enhance its appearance. Clients are welcome to visit the workshop to see us in action.
